On November 4, 2024, the first phase of the HDI monomer unit with an annual output of 100,000 tons was successfully put into operation, marking the successful start-up of the HDI industrial unit with the largest single production capacity in the world.

The annual output of 100,000 tons of HDI monomer plant put into operation this time is the world's largest single HDI production unit, and this set of equipment will be followed by HDI derivatives, including HDI trimer, HDI diuret, etc. Compared with the traditional MDI/TDI, HDI-based polyurethane materials have the advantages of yellowing resistance, aging resistance, high resilience, low density, good toughness, etc., which are widely used in automotive refinish paints, wood paints, industrial paints, water-based paints and other coating industries, and can be applied to polyurethane products such as polyurethane elastomers, foaming TPUs, shoe soles, leather pastes, adhesives, PUDs and other polyurethane products.
